So I am starting this blog - not really telling anyone. (Okay a few people) Reasons: well my first blog had the words "creative writing" in the address/title. To me that brought on pressure with every post, that is, to edit and write and rewrite and edit some more. Right now I am thinking how can I write what I just wrote BETTER- (HELP)
I do call myself a writer ( you are wondering why), so that is too be expected--- all the editing - though truth be told - I write best when being graded and with deadlines! Thus, my published stuff ( dont freak out its nothing too special) was written in school under the tutelage of some amazing and one or two scary professors!
SO....This blog is for freewriting .....for ME !!! With the stipulation that I may rewrite what I write but I may not. Or I may use something from this blog in ten years---or I may not. Who knows where my life will take me and when I will really start writing on a regular basis. I want to give myself permission and hopefully train myself to just write to get my thoughts, however jumbled they may be, on paper. I hope this blog can help me work through my "Shakespearean" I'll try to explain in my next post. Now my hubby is calling - he wants me to watch "The Tourist" on DVD. And the sweetie is going to rub my tired, aching feet!! I am a slave you know.
